Too many targets in this thread lately!
Only joking guys!
Time to share some progress!
A second round of PSR, and the addition of the wing strengthening plates from the Tamiya detailing set

Following a 2nd coat of primer, I pre-shaded the model, then added the first layer of camo, in this case FS36375 (White Ensign paint)

My airbrush skills aren't good enough to spray freehand, so I prefer to use blu-tac masks - in the process of applying them here.

Last night was a layer of FS36231 (Humbrol)
Later today I will be applying the FS36081. I'm not too bothered if I don't get a perfect paint job, these birds are quite tatty and weathered, with lots of touch ups.

Slowly getting it done! The story so far. Really only some decalling, painting and weathering, and addition of an antenna to do, and it's finished. it's not perfect by any means - there's lots wrong with it - it was a cursed build for me from the start, but I'll see it through whatever! Suppose it could have been a lot worse!

Good progress guys. I'm going ahead and starting a second build for the campaign because the Stalingrad dio is driving me crazy. Here's the Tamiya late Jagdpanther G2.

Wow, you build that Jag all in one sitting? I really love the looks of those things. Think I will have to pick one up while I still can. What paintjob you thinking of?

OOB goes really nice with Tamiya and I've built the Panther and Ersatz before so I kinda know how it goes together

I sorta have a general camo idea in my mind. I think this is it for today:

I don't sign on for a few days, and lo and behold, everyone has made such progress. I love it when painting starts, everything starts to come together.
Patrick, I especially like your BA-10, it's a great looking and unusual build.
Steph, I had tried to put some interior in my Tamiya M4, so I really liked what you have done with yours.

Thanks, that's one of the reasons I built it is that you don't see it often. Its a bit of work, but I knew what to expect after building their GAZ truck with the Maxims in the back.

Steph - the tracks look great and the dirt is convincing. I think you've proved Bandai can stand next to the best.

hello, thank you Waikong ,the kit BAINDAI reproduced fairly well inside the turret and cockpit. Patrick BA10 your very beautiful. Here are a few more. your comments are welcome;
steph
Thank you for the compliment on the BA-10.
Couple of observations on your M4.
Try and get some additional dirt up on the tracks that go under the sponsons. It might just be the light, but it looks as if the top run of track is clean.
A quick easy upgrade on any M4 kit is to replace the headlight guards with flat wire or strip. Everyone from Bandai to Tamiya molds them way too thick while Hobby Boss gives them to you in photoetch. You can take copper wire or better, electrical solder and roll it flat. This will give you some thin metal strips that you can form to the correct shape. It really spruces up these kits.
Looks like you did a great job on the build. How easy did it go together? I have built one Bandai kit (the Valentine) and it was less than easy, but I loved the result.

John - the kv decals are awesome. Weather that puppy well.
