A lot of people expressed an interest when Scott Sutherland posted the Rapid reconnaissance campaign in 2010.
Unfortunately Scott never submitted the campaign and is now too busy to run it. Gary Kato, CAMPAIGNS ADMINISTRATOR has said I can step in and run the campaign but since it was never submitted I have to see if people are still interested.
This is the proposal
All scales
Any era
Any nationality
Any vehicle that has been used in a reconnaissance role, so no MBT's or APC'c etc. Any dio featuring troops in a reconnaissance setting/role. Anything like Sheridan's, CVRT scimitar/Scorpion/sabre, M3 Bradley would be absolutely fine.
Dioramas allowed
-Kits must be unstarted.
2 photos of the finished kit into the campaign Gallery, and in-progress photos onto the campaign thread.
Campaign to run for six months from May 1st 2013
Each member who completes at least one vehicle and uploads one image of the finished build to the campaign gallery will receive a ribbon in recognition of their achievement.
We have about five members interested we need five more before I can submit the campaign so if you're interested please post here and not in the original thread.

Hi Pat,
I had said I would be in but then built my kit for another campaign when this didn't kick off
I don't have anything in the stash right now but plenty of time to get something so count me in

Pat, I would be interested in this. I've got an LAV-25 SLEP in the stash somewhere which I think should qualify for this one. Count me in.

"In Italian service, the 4X4 variant carries two soldiers in addition to the driver and gunner, and is used in pairs for battlefield reconnaissance. "
Good choice Paul I look forward to seeing it when the campaign starts.

Hi,
I just signed up and now I am looking for suitable builds for this campaign. I am thinking of doing the ACE 1/72 Dingo for one build, looks a really nice little vehicle.
