Thanks Gary and Dave. It goes slow, I know...but I'm moving in two weeks, so, most of the workshop is in boxes... Here is where I`m at: Rubbles are on and I need to base coat now to see what need to be improved. here a pic of the build prior base coat. I`m keeping this simple since it is my first real dio.

Gary, wish you would pain that one bro, it would be awesome hehe

Thanks for watching.

Gary, Thanks bro! indeed when i`ll finish moving paint is gonna get sprayed all over the place! Nice work with the french bro! hehehe

Christopher, I find that balsa looks like...balsa when left unpainted. i prefer to paint it to close the grain so it looks more up to scale...if it makes any sens

Thanks guys.

Philippe This is cool, I like it so far! Nice tip/technique for textured surface... so obvious yet I didn't think of it! Clear as mud right!!!
What's the plan for the figs?

Thank you dave, in fact there is no plan for figs yet...haven`t found the right ones I guess. I want to get two or three russian infantry following the tank and one curled up, scared, young german soldier hidden inside.

Here is a pic with the KV1:

Cheers

Got some base colours on so I can play with my oils when I`ll be installed in the new place.
The plan is to tone down the colours to a very even palette to give the dio a sepia like look. This way the KV will stand out a little since i want it to be the center of attention at first and then the dio...Am I making sens here?

I am not sure of the color of the street...Any suggestions?

Thanks for watching.

Hey Phil,

Building looks nice in its new color. On the street, not having done one before, id say maybe a lot of dust and scatter over a similar color to your primer??? Heck i dont know, im just guessing! hehe I think your doin' fantastic given its your first too....looks like you've dont it before.

Later Brother,

A little update...I work on this between builds So it is a long shot.

Base color on the brick next is masking and more definition on the base wall colors, followed by a gloss, some washes and weathering
