Progress on the Screamin' Mimi Sherman; the hull top and lower fit left a nasty gap, but nothing a little plastic sheet couldn't fix!

More progress on the Screamin' Mimi.

Rather than worry about smoothing and perfecting the upper-lower hull join, I just slathered a mixture of Squadron Green putty and dirt from my garden to hide it.

It also dirtied up the underside and covered the not-so-perfect joins in the bogey assemblies.

This build may be out of the box, but I couldn't live with that ugly handgrab on the commander's hatch - brass wire to the rescue!

Otherwise the model is stock.

Dear All,

Progress...

Next step will be to add details for the interior, then I'll close the hull.

So far, the construction is very smooth. Tamiya's instructions are simply and clear.

Cheers

Dear All,

Meanwhile Administrators are working to fix the problem of pictures in the kitmaker gallery...

Sal, you're building same Stuka zu Fuss: I have a question. Do you have investigated the correct arrangement of electric wiring to operate the rockets ?

Nothing in the instruction sheets...

Cheers

I am building the Cyborhobby version and there is nothing in these instructions either about wiring for the rockets. I found some pictures while doing a Google search but none that show the wiring
Sorry

Hi guys,

Still working on sd.kfz.251/1 Stuka zu Fuss.

Now interior is almost complete:

Everything fine so far. The only boring matter is to build the six same wurframer (rocket's supports) because it is a repetitive build. But all ok.

Tonight I'll close the upper hull.

Cheers

Dear All,

Despite all my efforts, due to very busy time on my job and long absence from my workbench, I cannot finish my Stuka zu Fuss withing the end of campaign.

So, he will go directly into ''unfinished business 2015''.

Anyway, I'm happy to have joined so far and hope to see a ''Wurf and friends - Part II'' soon.

Cheers
