well just another short update, waiting for the decals for the door and the telegragh pole still but wanted to do some more so i tackled the oil drums and wheel, rusting was done with a kabab stick, box of cotton buds and AK interactive rust oil paint. only oil paint i have but i really like how easy it is to blend and transform, will be getting more oil paints as soon as i can for sure. so these drums and wheel are meant to be looking like they have sat in the 'wasteland' for a long time, i think they still need more mud thats been spashed up from the rain at the bottom of them though.

Looking good so far. What kind of "wasteland" are we talking about here? Third-world country or post-apocalyptic?

Erm good question!

I guess I was thinking of like a no mans land between two countries, the idea is meant to be like a field or grass plains. As the IT1 never really saw action in its short lifespan I've just gone with my impression of what it could of looked like.

Well after a long break from this, and my wife breaking the turret i repaired the damage and started the base, first time I've done this, started with a picture frame.

Matt,
thank you, this went from a practice kit to warm up to becoming a very well loved baby, kinda snowballed to the work of 'art' you see now.

Yes I wouldn't like to reload it, after reading up on it I wasn't shocked it only lasted two years in service, Russian crazy ideas!
