Well, I'm changing my entry. The Dragon kit will take too much work and too much time to accurise. So, I'll be build Tristar's offering. I will still be using the interior and pe set and a few other bits. Anybody want the Dragon kit?

Man this site is superb, I was a lazy modeller, nip up to the office for 30 mins here an hour there. These campaigns really make you put the time in lol. Not seen the wife for ages. Maybe she should take it up too............................mmmmmmmm maybe not on 2nd thoughts, I only have one model table lol good luck guys see you at the end.

Matt, looks like you have it all set up. What's wrong with the Dragon kit?
As for me, I still haven't decided whether I'll be doing the Elefant from Tamiya or the SIG from Dragon or something else. I have a plethora of kits to choose from so I might change at the last moment. I am thinking of King Tiger Ardennes front from Tamiya but would rather keep that for another time.
Anyways, can't wait to start. I won't though be able to start on the 1st as I am busy this weekend.
Cheers!

Hey Eugene,Hope you're almost home Man,and that things are going well with you.I have a question about what I can build for this campaign. The rules are pretty broad,Any WWII German Tank.I know that they are not technically tanks, but would SPG's like the Nashorn fit? They use a Panzer chassis
No problem if they don't.Thanks,Jeff T.

Hey All , Just wanted to pop in a sy hi before the kick off, I am popping smoke here in 3 days and will be on the way.. I see alot of great projects, Fiting the scheme. Jeff yes you are cool with your Entry because I think the Nashor was based on a PZIV chassis. Nashorns,Wespe,Hummel,Marder,Grille all on Pazer Chassis's. OK everyone have fun with the campaign and Ill back with you all before you know it.
Horrido,
Eugene

well have started to look for references for the StuG III ausf.e (building the orange top cyber hobby kit). does anyone know
1) how much extra track the kit has (it has indi link) as I like adding spare all over the place
2) if the kit has spare road wheels (I can check later when i get home of course) and if it doesn't which spare road wheels would be appropriate (I have a couple of nice shots of them mounted in various positions (like vertical up the side)
am also after good photos of
1) the interior - none supplied but may have a play at scratching basics???
2) photos of damage - after am sure i have seen a photo of a stug with a replacement fender from floor boards - would that've been done (LOTS without fenders at the front so might go with that but am sure I saw one some place where the crew had made up one from wooden boards
3) any other StuG photos of interesting things (rear stowage especially)
thanks guys (also posting in the general modelling area)

Robert,
The CH ausf E kit comes with 130 Magic Track links for each side, so you'll have plenty to use for add-on armor. The kit also comes with two extra road wheels as well as the mounts. The extra wheels are set up for their ausf F kit. The CH E and F kits are basically identical.
Hope that helps.

So far we're seeing good choices. Getting excited. I couldn't touch anything modelling today due to gardening duties. I am done, but sore. It will take me a couple of days till I get back to normal...
