I now have it all tighter and started the weathering. I’m using the AK Interactive weathering set #AK077. It’s pretty to use without any problems. and to finish out I’ll be using the MMP weather powders #005 Sand. I’m still deciding which way to display this, by itself or on a small base with figures and story. Here’s my worry...during judging there might be that one who will bend it too far and break something.

excellent finish Joe! The crusty mud on the buckets look amazing, did u use plaster for the built up mud?
A small dio w/ the scoops resting on a dirt mound,with a couple soldiers chatting would really make this stand out!
