One can even use a M113 ACAV turret for some variation :

Interesting references guys! The blast shield would be cool
Thats a nice one Frenchy!
Does anybody have a color name I could use to paint the windows? They seem green, blue-ish to me.... What tamiya clear code should I use?

I think you can use thegreenclear from Tamiya. I used it for all my MRAP's windows. You need to diluate the colour.

Alclad makes a "bullet proof glass" color. I haven't tried it yet, but it may work

It is Alclad II "Armored Glass". I have a bottle that I am dying to try out.

Save your money. Add the tiniest drop possible (toothpick) of food coloring to a cup of Future, test spray, and when you have the tint you want, shoot it onto your windows.

Sounds as a good solution Robert! but I guess ill just buy some clear colors from tamiya.
I did some work on the Nyala the last two weeks and am pretty close to finishing the build of this MRAP.
It is ready to be painted! Ill start with the interior.
After painting some additional parts will be added such as mirrors, and protection for the front and tail lights.
The roof can be taken af, its not glued to the bottom yet. (easy painting)
Here are some pictures:
The complete update with more pictures can be found on my blogpost of the RG-31 right here
I hope you guys like it!
thanks for watching

Just for to know. This turret looks narrow in comparison with a GPK turret or an O-GPK turret.

Looks like the kit does not c/w the reinforcing bars on the roof that the RWS sits on. Easy enough fix I reckon.
Kind of tempted to do an UNMEE version. I suspect its the same as the CCSFOR vehicles:

And a whole new roof! I think that version has four or even six roof hatches...
There was a recent photo posted somewhere - MCVD group maybe, even ML or here, can't recall.
Edit - Duh, it was here https://armorama.kitmaker.net/forums/203239

You're doing a good job on this kit, Boris... and I don't know about any possible scale discrepancies, but it looks really good overall.
Which PE set did you use to detail the .50 caliber?

I believe they mean that there are wheels with the tire logo in 2 different positions. 2 of the logo in one position and 2 in a different position. That is how they have been doing their other wheels sets
