Looking great Robert. The scratched grafitti on the bench is a winner. Its details like this that always do it for me.

@ Matthew
LOL you are right... It is the hideout of the local ne'erdowells. And currently I have a bit of time on my hand which allows me to make big steps with this project.
@ Frank
Thanks for the compliments. I like to add those details. I nearly ruined the bench in the progress but that doesn't stop me somehow.

Not gonna lie, this little diorama has given me some inspiration to try my hand at something along those lines.
Top notch work!

I really can recommend the Miniart range when you want to create a nice little base. They sell nice details and quick results. Thanks for the compliments.
I started planting grass on the road surface. Again I used several brands and types to get a nice variety.
However nice it looked it posed me with a problem. The several products differed a lot in color from each other. And it certainly differed from what I already did in the park area. So I had to recolor it. For this I choose AK interactive Slimy Grime Dark. It's a wash. Can be used straight from the bottle and is transparent enough to keep a diversity in shades among the grass. But still tie it together in the same color range.
Only thing to add is some flowers and weeds and then I call this base finished.

I have been following along and have to tell you how great this project is turning out. The groundwork and painting and foliage are very convincing as is the nice touch with the grafitti. I am so happy that you put the refuse in the scene! It is little things like that that will convince people of the reality of the scene. Well done brother! Anton Wieck would be proud!

Thanks mister Rutman for the compliments.
That litter works so well to my own surprise and I kinda made it from the memories I had when I was hangin out with the guys in similar places.
It was a real joy to work on this one and most of the flowers and weeds are added. I did some additional weathering on the bench. I am planning to add one minor detail and then I call it finished.

Yeah a Miniart Mercedes L1500S Cargo truck will be placed with one or two figures. But that is for later concern. I have to finish a few things first before I start that. Review of it will be available soon though.
And for my last update I decided to try something different. Even for me as I have never done this before. I took a bunch of pics from all over the project and poured it into a videopresentation on youtube. So sit back and enjoy

Changed the movie to one with some royalty free music. Now it can also be viewed on a Cellphone. The Record companies really don't want to miss out on any opportunities to fill their pockets... Sorry that meant to say their artist pockets.
