I need to remove the decals from my latest project. Can someone please help me. I have no idea on where to start. Was thinking sand paper because I have to repaint the entire model.

Have you varnished the model?
If not just try with hot water and the decal solution you used.

Try using Micro Sol letting that soak in should do the trick.

If all else fails, use a sharp knife to gently scrape off the decal and then some very fine sandpaper to smooth it all up. As long as you don't go gouging into it, there shouldn't be too much of a problem to get a good paint base again.

I have recently found that a nice oil wash will sometimes remove your decals for you, even if you did not want them removed. . . .

As long as you haven't sealed the decals you're ok. Any setting solution will work, just don't apply more then you need, as it will eat into the paint.

Scotch tape works well, if they haven't been sealed.
