No worries. If you REALLY want to be cool(and accurate) next time model some,if not most, of the pouches empty.

Ola James

Great work all round mate. figures look top.

As for bordering the base. I usually make a border of 1mm thick styrene that is the height of the foam base with all the elevations in it which I spray black. But I usually do this early on in the project while I'm creating the groundworks. Because that way I can close the gap between the styrene and the foam with spackle or whatever I'm using for groundworks

Jim,
You get out your trusty epoxy putty or majic sculpt and make one from scratch! An easy way to start would be get a kit plastic ammo pounch and cut off two of the pouches or at least grind down their fronts to create a backstop. Then build the empty pouches onto that. Open flaps can be made with putty or with lead foil from a good wine bottle(bonus here is you get to consume said wine)

If you snatch one of Dragon's Gen2 figure sets, some of the ammo pouches come opened up. It would still take some work like Jerry said but at least you wouldn't need to worry about making your own flaps Unless you want to, if that's the case then this redundant haha.

The only downside is that there's only 2 open pouches for each type (2 open Kar 98, Stg 44, MP40, G43), and you would be buying the whole kit for that one feature.
