Looking good Matt.

Torsion bars? Does this mean your planning an interior? Hopefully.

Matt,

Looking amazing, amazing & fantastic, will follow for sure!! When you were doing your previous build you had from memory moved the middle two rear fuel tank holders, I am trying to do the same, but couldn't remember if you had moved them back to the outside by 1mm or 2mm.

Keep up the inspiring work!! Please

Cheers Mike

I like that you're doing it in 'real scale' for all the armor. Will be watching for sure.

Matt, just came across your build log, and it's sounds like this is going to be a real amazing journey, so I subscribed to make sure I don't miss a thing.

Your build of the nose section and lower armor plate clearly shows the level of accuracy and detail that this build will encompass.

See, now THIS is a 'real' build. Not my "let's just buy some aftermarket and glue it together" like me.

Does Rocket Ron take on more clients? 'cause I build at a snails pace considering the hours I put in.

Jesse, seems to me that besides the lets buy some AF stuff and just build, you're one heck of a super builder. Lets see, your M24 Chaffee is contest quality, and your current build, the Grant is at the cutting level of excellence.

Matt,

As I am also not only one of the queens subjects & as a kiwi living in Ozzie, do I get the commonwealths discount on a rocket Ron franchise???

If so can I please get one with 1 forward gear & 12 in reverse as I seem to be looking in that direction most often!!

P.S Jesse I have to agree with Joel your builds are stunning!!

Cheers Mike

Jesse - There is some aftermarket stuff going on soon, Abers PE mudguards, they look nice, but are causing problems.

Ignore the list I posted above, I'm doing the idler mount sub-assemblies, it's a real problem area on the Tamiya kit due to a lack of any detail.

Yeah, aftermarket stuff is nice, but rarely goes as smoothly as you would hope in adapting to your project. I remember doing the idler areas on my T-55. It made it look better, but I'm curious to see how craz... I mean... detailed you do it.
