My own personal opinion is that Dark Green is, well...a little too dark. I prefer Forest or Medium Green. Scale effect always tend to make the "correct" color look a little dark in 1/35. Of course if you dust it up enough it may not matter anyway.

If you favour acrylics, Tamiya NATO Green, lightened a bit with Desert Yellow or Buff (especially if you use washes/filters).

Tony,
Lifecolor Green UA303 (FS 34094) is a dead on match.

I used Tamiya Field Grey, which is actually a green
If you think its too grey, go with a 50/50 mix with Tamiya NATO Green

A
I have a paint sample of the CARC green used on these vehicles from the factory. I compared the chip to Tamiya NATO green, and it is a match.
My 2 cents

The actual vehicles are painted in the CARC (NATO) green (FS 34094). On the actual vehicle, it's so matt that it may appear lighter from a distance for a scale model.
They are starting to paint some of them Sand if they are sent to be overhauled. The proper sand is the CARC paint, again a NATO color Tan (FS 33446). This is a little browner and deeper than the old MERDC Sand color (FS 30277).
Some day, when they can be confident that these vehicles won't all end up in the desert, they'll start painting them in the proper NATO TriColor pattern, but so far the contracts just call for solid green.
