what's the flash like on that kit? I purchased a Zvezda BY a couple of weeks ago with the intention of making it a weekend build. But after 2 hours removing flash from 4 parts I gave up and put it back in the box.

Andy, the flash is not bad the plasic is soft: here is where I am at now.

I really like the way the BTR-40 came out. I think I'm going to add it to my next purchase list.

finally made some more progress on this... all done apart from adding the doors... the figure will go on my StuG but he happened to be sitting on the turret when I took the photo ;-)

Using a wooden tooth pick scratch and chipped Sd.Kfz.232 (8 RAD) enclosed photos.

Can I play? Here's my destroyed BA-10 ... uhhhh ... errr ... BA-3 ... Well, it's kind of an abortion that threw together last week. I did a bit of free-styling on this one for the fun of it. It's going into a Russian street scene diorama in the next week or so.

Hi Guys

Will be working on Tamiya's M8 Greyhound over the next couple of weeks.

Waiting on replacement etch. Ordered it from an international EBay store and didn't think to make sure it wasn't on the last slow boat out of China.

Here is my post for the armored car that I'll be building. I didn't get a photo until after I had assembled a few parts.

Added some primer for the small PE parts, painting the rear cargo parts is next.

Brent, I built that kit a few years ago and I found that it was a little small for both my hands and eyes. But it did turn out a nice model especially that snazy camo scheme. Let me know how you find the kits construction.

Hi Mike, we'd love to have had you play but you've missed the point of the campaign. The idea is you post a pic at the start, a few as you go along and then one at the end. The campaign is all about engagement with the other people in teh campaign. So sorry, we'll have to turn down this build for the campaign, but I do like it. There's still a few months left so is there something else in your stash you can join with?

SD.KFZ 222 is now complete.... enjoyable build, some new techniques used (making tarps an tie-down straps) plus some sctracth building of the racks....
