old news..
Actually no. This appears to be a different release, the artwork depicts the earlier T-90 with the cast turret. I guess therefore the T-72 is not far behind at all.

I'm glad someone finally put out the cast turret version. Love the box art.

The box art reminds me of some of the T90's test trials.

Agree, you can see that this "box art" shows the cast turret, not the welded one. So not old news at all.
The only thing I don't like of that drawing is that the road wheels are displayed in a straight position, as if they were on the ground, and not "airborne"
Anyway, I'll be waiting this release

Meng's T-90s even has external pipe line for fuel tanks, do trumpy got this covered? the detail and the rod radius of the light protect basket is much smaller than trumpy's standard of T-64 series, do trumpy got these covered?
Meng has a T-90 cast turret showing on the CAD drawing 2 years ago, no reason not to release the T-90 cast turret

The Zvezda T-90 has the fuel pipes too, I see no reason why Trump wouldn't include this detail. It would be pretty poor of them to leave out an important detail like that.

Wouldn't think that making a working suspension can be that difficult. I've done it on some Dragon kits.

As far as I know there is no release date for Trumpeter, remember the MSTA ? Don't get excited till you see it for sale from a vendor.

I will be very interested on how the two kits stack up against each other I have the Meng T 90 And did a couple of stages last night It reminds me of the Dragon M1 kits which I know many people are not fans of for their own reasons Either way at least there is going to be a 3 way choice for fans of this tank.

Don't think there's a firm release date on any of the T-90s. I've seen all the Trumpeter distributor fliers through September, and all that's listed with a scheduled date, at least that's appropriate to this forum, are:
T-64A m.1981
KV-8
BTR-80
URAL 4320 Cargo Truck
BMP-3F
These each should be showing up in the US/Western markets in the July-September time frame. That leaves us with:
T-90 Cast (that we learned about in this thread)
T-90 Welded
T-80BV
2S19 MSTA
T-64B w/ ERA
Those all have come from box art paintings that have been shown on their Facebook page. The exception being the T-80BV, as that was shown as a CAD model only.
I think that's it, at least that I can recall. I expect to see the October release sheet ANY day now (they're typically put out the second week of the month).
I'd guess we'll see at least one of these on that list.
Great news about the cast version of the T-90.... I suspect they'll be beating that chassis for quite some time! I'm gonna laugh when somebody posts "God ANOTHER T-72, I'm sick of those...."
Good stuff!!

Just got the latest distributor flier on Trumpeter - the T-90A (cast turret) is slated for October release from US sources with a $72.95 SRP listed. Listed with 1300 parts (mostly a result of individual tracks).

This hobby keeps getting more expensive by the hour! You could get Meng kit and Miniarm '92 T-90S turret for the same or slightly lower price.

Let's see the final price at places like Hobbyeasy or Luckymodel. Usually you can find Trumpeter kits far cheaper there than anywhere... and they have both a great service

It's not the problem that Trumpy raises the prices into the sky, but they would also produce better quality. Their kits are full of silly errors. They do lots of new kits (it's welcome), but something is always missing (for e.g. no tools, like axe, saw, etc... on their 2S3).
