I just saw this listed on PMMS. Is the RWS still the wrong one/wrong version? Also, don't some of the v.2 have some extra armor added to the turret cheeks?

Nope,
The kit has it correct: A CROWSII .50 cal replaces the ICWS, the CREW protective box for the DUKE is mounted the bustle rack, and Loader's protective shields for his M240. No add on armor for the turret.

I never got any problem with ordering at Blast site. The only thing I am not satisfied with is the minimum amount of 20 euros for your order to be accepted.
The customer service is really good too.

I usually buy from them.
Excellent service, and one of the fastest shipping and delivery.

Talking about shipping, the 20 euros is an estimate. Yesterday I ordered this RWS kit, and received by mail the confirmation of actual shipping charges (to Argentina):
"Weight of your parcel : 0.100 KG
Airmail + registration : 10.20 EUR / delivery +/- 5-10 days"

Just to clarify what happens when buying from overseas

Order from Blast with confidence. Giles is an upfront guy that will not send the package until you confirm that you are good with shipping cost and the ordered items... I have not had a problem in the 8-10 orders that I made with him over the past couple of years.

They handle business very very good from my experince.

One thing, the new crows 2 for the Abrams looks a little deferent than their humvee and matv crows2, shields are totally new......what do you guys think about the crows 2 size? look close to the real thing or not?

I like it. It's a really nice mod. What's the point, though? There are a lot of modelers who would like to get this; but, you can't find a DML 3536 if your life depended on it. By the time DML decides to make another limited rerelease, Blast will probably have discontinued this set because of low sales volume due to the fact that nobody has the kit to use it on. This is akin to being placed in a round room and told to crap in a corner.

I picked up 2 SEPs during this last go around. I'm sure there are plenty sitting in peoples stashes just waiting for a mod like this.

Edit: I just checked the site, and it looks like they're sold out already.

Hi all I like the Dragon kit that's why I picked up 7 of each in the last round of re release but realy if you can use the Tamiya Tusk parts on the Dragon kit then it shouldn't be a drama to use the Blast kit on the Tamiya kit I thought they would have made it universal or at least said it can be used on both brands Cheers Ben.

You could probably use this set on a Tamiya kit; but, not everybody is crazy about it. Qualitywise, the difference between the DML and Tamiya kits is like the difference between a Caddy and a Buick. I've squirreled away enough 3535's and 3536's to keep me busy for a long while. I was referring to other modelers who weren't able to spend lots of time on the net hunting these kits down. It'd be nice if the kit and AM manufacturers were in sync. Both could benefit from a closer collaborative relationship.

Its prob just simulated extra weight for equipment yet to be fitted to the vehicle.

Probably is. Notice the spot welds of the plate on the hull, meaning it's only placed there for temporary purposes.
