Add to my previous post the release of the T-80B, announced for November...
If Trumpeter does not deliver, I don' know who does

oh, don't me wrong, a T-72B with K5 is all the thing I wanted for years, after the announcement of the T-72BA, everyday waitting without a exact release date is suffering for me , yeah my bad, I just put too much negative comment here

BTW, where is that pre-order? I don't seen anything on ebay or hobby search of the T-72B obr1990

That's why I call you back to reason, Dave, LOL
I'm anxious too about these releases, but on the other hand I realize that its becoming more difficult each month to keep the pace of modern stuff released -mostly by Trumpeter, as I pointed-. I'll need three or four reencarnations to be able to build all that stuff, but keep on buying...

No T-72 M1990, but T-72B M1989 here (posted previosuly on this thread by other member):

I don't understand all this furor over the kit being mild upgrade of T-72B but not K-5 equipped T-72B itself. You want to build 1989 T-72B out of this kit when it comes out? Then all you need is OMSH pattern T-72 tracks, get rid of kit's wind sensor mast and T-90 style exhaust, that's all there is to it. Taking things off and filling the gaps is a lot easier than scratch building missing stuff.

Hi, my translation is:
The article possibly will be released on 2013-12-10.

But I have no idea about these type of writing the "datum".
Year, month and day?

So I think, 10. Dec. 2013 could it be.

greetings...

Hi,

from my experience in the past with this dealer it should be 12th October. It has the same release date as Trumpeters T-90 and another german dealer (modellbau-koenig.de) has that one on pre order for "mid october". That backs my thought.

October or december....at least its 2013 for sure

Best regards,
Andreas

Yes George. And if you want to build T-72B you may use 1K13-49 sight. But you can build T-72B-1 w/o guided weapon system then you may use standard sight.

Trump already tooled both sights in their T-90 kit. There is a sprue with two active T-72 sights and a passive IR one.

I don't think my comment was harder than the attitude of underestimating other people's excitement.
Since the final kit has not being shown yet, just only it's box-art, we can only guess what parts it will share with the T-90, and what other versions would Trumpeter reléase in the future (once again: look at their T-62 and T-64 series).

Anyway, maybe it is my own 'unjustified excitement' what prevent's me to understand how should it be easier to modify the current T-90, than waiting the reléase of the T-72 itself.

Hi Andreas and all others too, using some saved "Google-Earth"-Images as a reference for the "saved-time". (year, month and day)
Possibly this kit will be released in October.

But, we will see. ;-)

I'm sure they will target winter holiday season with this. Meng is said to release something outrageous based on T-90 by Christmas, so they will try and take away some of their thunder.

IMR, BREM, BMPT, TOS-1, T-90SM - could be anything. Lead tech consultant on T-90A kit said there is a secret item due this Christmas.

Hope it's a BMPT by Meng, Or a T-72 Variant with K5(again ram with Trumpeter), but sounds very likely to be a BMPT to me

If their T-72 family is like their T-64 series, and less so the T-62, we're in for exciting times.

I just got their T-90 as well, hope to do a quick review soon.
