Hi Brent,
Almost a year since your forum posts.Time really does fly.
I finally got the Warrior kit and working on it now.Using yours as a reference.
Did you scratch the toilet seat?Mine came with a regular seat cushion.

Tom

Hey Tom,

Yeah it has been a while Been off lately due to illness but I'm back on deck again (hopefully).

And yeah I made a loo seat, then rather dumbly attached it the wrong way around - Doh! Can't see it though with the troops in the back. I've got 2 more Warriors to do this year. One will be completely buttoned up and one with have the ramp open and so get more internal detailing.

Brent, excellent series.
With interest I expect continuation of your work.
I looked at your models and too I decided to try to assemble similar cars...

Thanks Dmitry!! Appreciate your comments (and following your Ruskie tank builds!)

cheers

Nice work.
What is the paint mix that you use for the body color, and what did you use for the anti-reflection lens?
Thanks.

Hi Richard,

The base colour on the Warrior is Humbrol enamels was mixed more by eye than any ratio. Sorry I can't help exactly but it started out with 148 (Matt Radome Tan) as a base then had Flesh, Yellow and White added. I trialled the paint as I mixed on the bottom until I got what I was looking for.

The lenses are just Humbrol Silver base with thinned (very) acrylic glazes over the top.

There's bigger piccies on my blog which may help .....

cheers
Brent
