Thanks Chris, the drying time is killing me. So many things to do yet. The figures could drag the whole thing down. Patience, patience, patience.

OK took the day off from work to try and complete this one. As you can see its been dullcoat, silly putty, white camo, pinwashes, and more to come, I will be busy into the night.

I like the white-wash scheme. I think you should have thinned your white a good deal more though; it would have been more transparent/ worn.
Finish it up.
Finish it up.

Airbrushing is another of my shortcomings. It took every ounce of patience to get the whitewash done. I thinned it almost too much just to get it through my airbrush. I was lucky to get it done at all. Well Chris the way I look at things it was more white at some point and would be less white at another, this is the point where it is a lil more white Up at 6 this morning and off to work on it

Good to see it completed, think the paint job is good, a lot better than my own attempt a worn whitewash. I guess the engine is running so the guys on the back can get some heat.

Wow, early birds don't catch the worm ya know? The worms are still asleep too.
Sorry if I sounded a bit critical but we were having a discussion about scale versus 1:1 apperences at my last two IPMS meets so I'm kind of in that mindset.

Saw this "in person" at the AMPS show. I liked it much better than what's showing in the pictures. Not that the pics are bad, it's just that a lot of the subtleties don't show up well. Nice job!!

Thanks everyone, I appreciate your comments. Well now in hindsight it wasnt my best effort and the judges remarks were right on the mark. So, I purchased some new kits to add to the stash and I will begin the next project with their critiques in mind and work to elevate my modelling. Besides my other 2 entries received Gold so now I am "Advanced" so I have to live up to that, for me.

Timothy, are you planning on going to PennCom in Carlisle in Sept? I've got a friend in the area and am thinking about driving up for it.

I picked up a flyer for it at the show. Sept 20th at the US Army Heritage & Education Center. It's an IPMS show with "the Great War Era" as the theme.
