Thanks guys, I'm glad you like it. It is the first model I used the 'its good enough' mantra and I'm close to actually finishing the model.
Hope to post the final photos soon.

"Good enough" for you is exceptionally good in my eyes, Mario. :-)
Look forward to seeing the completed model.

New update. The figure I wanted to put in the turret ring didn't grip the .50 cal as planned. So this one took his place.
Here's how it looks now. A bit more pigments, but that will have to wait until I put the vehicle on the base.
I planned a simple base, just a road and some sand, but it felt boring. What do you think about this... a local villager passing by on a donkey?

I somehow missed the update on this build. I love the pose of the soldier on the turret. Did you modify a figure it is that a factory pose?

Thanks Brent.
I modified the left hand. It was supposed to be holding a M4, but I felt turning the hand would give him a more relaxed look.

Thanks guys. After cleaning and assembling the donkey rider I haven't done much on this vignette, being preoccupied with the new GMV project.
Actually I'm glad you revived this old thread so I may find inspiration to finally finish this vignette.
Cheers,
Mario

I definitely would love to see the vignette finished. This has to be one of the best OIF builds I have seen. The Special Forces Humvee looks like a lot of work, but if you do have the time to get this one done - even better. Cant wait to see how the donkey and rider looks when finished.

The soldier on the turret is from Nemrod's set US Hummer Crew Figures (35205).
