Hi, All! Don't know if this new HOBBY BOSS kit has been mentioned on this site yet, so here goes: HOBBY BOSS 1/35 83830 CCKW 750 Gal. Tanker, which according to the Cybermodeller hobby site, is slated for an April, 2014 launch. No other notes regarding this new kit- Fuel Tanker or Water Tanker, Hard or Soft Cab..? Anyone else hear about this thing?
Would be nice to see other CCKW 352/353 trucks, especially the regular stake-body troop carriers, (with TARPS, PLEASE) and separate kits with Hard and Soft Cabs. Still waiting for the WWII Dodge WC-series Ambulance. Do we have any takers?

The SWB 750 gallon truck is a hard cab.
Also coming is the CCKW 352 hard cab.

Thanks for your reply! The CCKW Tanker in the release photo is actually a LWB (Long Wheelbase) CCKW 353 Truck. The tank application would not have fit on a SWB CCKW 352 chassis...
What a great lineup from HOBBY BOSS, 2014...

Ah yes, you're right Dennis. I noted the spare tire rack behind the cab and just went from there. Regardless, I'll want both! Probably multiples of the SWB 352.

I'd also like to see the ACKW-353 COE (Cab Over Engine) version in plastic someday...

This kit has already been reviewed and some serious short comings have been noted in two other threads:
