Hi. Some work done on the base.
I made a window that came down after impact. Just some cardboard, pieces of wood and some transparant material from out of stock. Fun to do and there will be more...

Hi. Lots of fun building a ruined signalhouse.
Just a small one, but a bomb gives a lot of debree.
Still not ready. Part of the roof came down just beside the other track. So the crane has a load to pull away.
Only little things will be added next. More pieces of glass, stone and wood.
Some pictures...

Back to the workbench now to do some heavy weathering on the roof and make some small debree.

Robert Jan

Thanks you.
Tonight I'll have to delete a bunch of other pictures I made.
My phot space is not enough to show some more.
Maybe I'll start with a photobucket to make backup.
Made a start on sunday and after a 3 days the main part of the works on the base is done.

Robert Jan

Nicely done groundwork and wreckage. The debris "makes sense" if you know what I mean. Most of the time I see dios that have the stuff thrown around willy nilly. Not so here,it looks "right".

Thanks for the compliments Jerry.
I've been watching numerous dios in my life and at some point 80% were not interesting because they did not make sense. It is one of the most difficult things to do and I'm far from being good at it. Just wanted to make a start with it so I can improve on further projects. But for a start I'm rather satisfied.

Thank you Kurt.
As said, this is my first dio with a war theme.
After seeing so much dios from others I just had to give it a try. I like the way to jump in to the dark and find my way out. Learning process is all that counts.
Also glad people like it, that's a fact.

Hi Robert,

Fantastic work!

What brand of rail and ties (sleepers) are you using in the damaged portion?

Hi.
Thanks for the compliment.
Tracks and sleepers are from the Trumpeter kits.
Little heating and bending. Sleepers were cut off and mounted again.

Regards,

RJ
