Hi guys!

Here some pics of my D9R. I started it building and painting all lower parts and interior (no pics of interior, sorry).

Them I built the cabin, all slat suports and "ladders" (dry fitted on the pics).

I hope you like.

Cheers!

Hi people!

A little progress here.

I almost done the basic paint job. One or two more details and it will be read to start the wash.

I used VA IDF primer as basic color.

I hope you like.

Cheers!

Marco

Looking good so far, and I like the slat armour as well
I am also building a D9R but more in a Mad Max style than any option offered with the kit.

Marco, great looking D9R! What did you use for your non-skid on the roof and top of the engine deck?

Hi people!

@ Todd: Thanks man! I couldn't understand the expression (sorry, my english isn't so good). Your D9 is amazing too.

@ Cory: Thanks! I saw (I don't know where ) one of this monsters with this.

@ Willian: The slat isn't so hard. Voyager did a great job in this set. I'm sure you can use it and you will get a great bulldozer.

Cheers guys!

Great Job!!!

Can I ask how you did the paint on the Pistons?

I was thinking about painting these separately, but it looks like everyone does these at the end.

What paint do you recommend?

Thanks

Hi Mick!

First of all, thanks a lot!

In truth, I didn't paint the pistons. They are from Orange hobby. I polished, instaled and masked them before I painted the model.

By the way, I painted the big pistons in the suspension using Testors' metalic silver (fantastic paint).

I hope it helps you.

Good luck with your D9. It's a great, great model.

Cheers!

Hi!

I forgot to say: The Orange Hobby pistons are made in aluminium.

I want to see your finished D9
