Looks great! The amount of detailing you did to a basic DML figure really paid off in creating such a unique piece. Nice work!

Two of them now! They look like some imposing dudes. You really went all out with the small details on these guys, and it shows. Nice to see some modern stuff on the forums still.

What a pair of figures Jerry! This has been an inspirational and informative build thread from the first page. Its great to seem them all painted up side-by-side like this. Whoever commissioned them is going to be very pleased!

Excellent work as always, my friend.
It's really gratifying to see someone not only do the subject justice (finally!) but also get all of the details and other little things right.
I'm pretty sure that these are the only two modern US paratroopers that I have ever seen that actually have their LCE, rucks and M1959's modeled correctly.
You can be proud of these two!

Thanks all,for checking in and for making those very generous comments!! I always appreciate them, believe me.
I was just looking at them again,as I use these postings of my stuff as a learning tool to see where I can improve and I notice a big difference in quality between the first(beret) guy and the second. I think the proportions, equipment, posing and over-all "look" is better. Anyway,I hope so because this is the guy I made molds of!!! LOL

As indicated earlier, here is the female trooper. This is for someone that went to jump school in the 80s as part of her Air Force Academy training.
Using these pics as a check is always good for me. Right off I see a nice huge cat hair on the stomach and a nice air bubble on the quick release. Helmet needs work. I started on the fingers but they still need additional aps of putty.
She will be a "Hollywood" jumper with no LCE,weapons case or rucksack.

Looking good. I personally don't like the hair. I prefer the molded hair, but it looks pretty good overall.
