I know exactly what your talking about Jerry, I'm surprised I still remember some things.

Your correct about the cable from the MGS to the TU, it was only one cable. Nothing from the MGS went to the night sight. What's on the TOW you modeled is most likely an AN/TAS-4C and the one you mentioned you messed with was most likely a AN/TAS-4 or 4A with no post amplifier on it.

It's still a beautiful dio and if it wasn't for me and you knowing what we are talking about, no one else would know the difference.

Well thanks Pete but the only problem is tat the guy I built it for had the same job as me!!! So he knows! Or,at least,he used to know! Hahahaha
Me and him are pretty much on the same page.

Hi Jerry.
Been following this build and now the Casualty evacuation,with a lot of interest,Your style of painting gives me hope,and it's amazing what can be done with the older Dragon kits.

I have one observation with the commander figure,as I find my eye is continually being drawn to it.
The elbow pad on the left arm,where, you have scribed it,I feel it may have been better had you added it as separate piece to make appear as an additional piece of padding.

That being said give us more please.

Reminder to self must get the Dragon Modern sniper set.

I concur about the elbow patch thing but at some point you just have to say to yourself. How much time do I want to spend on this? I did put in some serious time and there is always room for improvement but....
The sniper set would look good with some hornet heads and maybe a nice Live Resin 50cal rifle?

I've got a couple of resin heads in fritz helmets which I'll may use or pehaps some newer dragon heads that are in the spares box.

Some of the more recent Dragon or MB plastic heads are fairly nice. The problem is they almost all are stone faced. No expression!
Hornet actually makes a set of heads with one eye closed as if aiming a weapon!
