for a change, was doing some tiny connectors for a project.
Started these because I needed some bended electrical and hydraulic connectors.
But except myself, is there interest in this kind of tiny things ?

Absolutely yes for connectors. I would definitely get them if you did a set in 1/35 scale.

Hello, Norbert... I would definitely get a couple of these sets.. Depending on the different sizes and shapes, they could be great for detailing radio equipment and engines and things like that... Hope you add them to your line up.

Hi Hisham, Hi Mario, Will check my prints to know if they are good enough. (Looking good but a deeper look is better)

We made a premiere, scanning around a jeep : old machanics leaning on the hood, and female mechanics watching. My wife worked the alignments and cleaning. Result is not bad at all.
Could imagine these figures around another vehicule, or an airplane, why not ?





Do not look too much at the old Italeri Jeep I borrowed from my son...it's just to give the idea

The beginning of a female crew!? One of those who flew hundreds of war planes from the factories to the unit air fields....
I think it would be a ( late) tribute to all female effort, done to keep the war machine rolling.
A splendid idea.

I made some progress on my research doing meshes (I want to do the curved intake meshes you find on some helicopters)
pitch 0.5 mm, radius 1 mm


and also some progress on the tiny connector, the small hydraulic angled beeing too thin with somewhat like 0.05 mm diameter (on a short distance)

Hi
Having an exhibition in 1 week, I decided to try to paint some of my figures
I'm like some others here, not a great figure painter...

undercoat tamiya white with 70% alcohol, face and hands are oil painted



I could dry the paint in some minutes : Oven at 100° Celcius : the material withstand that.

humbrol enamel plus some oil paint in order to play with the shades :







Now, Have to look how I will patch it, then I can apply a matt coat

The painted figure looks really nice. They all should come out looking great once painted based on what you are starting with.

Finally, I got it after almost six weeks (three weeks to get to Egypt, and three weeks to get to me).. I think I would have reached France faster in a dinghy

Seriously though, it's an excellent figure. The detail is remarkable.. and I also like the fact that I don't have to worry about filling and sanding the seams around the shoulders and waist and all that usual stuff

I'm definitely going to order more stuff from you in the future

I think maybe a little soft wet sanding with 2000 grit paper would help a little.

I was wondering, does acetone eat at resin like it does with plastic?

I'm wondering why Reedoak prints those figures for each order. The shapes are not overly complex and the figures can easily be transfered to resin, most even as one piece casts. This would make the product cheaper and would not feature any printing lines.

Norbert, what do you think?
