Very nice. Can't wait for both kits !
A little mistake for this painted model. ECR bags are black not green.

Hi Everyone;
While Surfing the net, I found the VBL and AMX out of Hong Kong, the VBL is 50.00 and the AMX is 60.00 including shipping. I think I will wait about A Year and see if there price goes down A Bit; I had to Bite My Lip while looking at the AMX-10.

I have both kits on pre-order.. VBL - $30 and AMX - $40 plus $25 shipping for a total of $95.. I don't think that's too bad

The AMX-10 is showing on eBay now, so Hobbyeasy should have them in soon.

I'm just so happy someone decided to produce these kits in 1/35 plastic.. Remember the petition I put up 1 year ago ? I got a few signatures and not that much feedback from the big companies. It's just really awesome to finally see an amx-10 rcr !! I'm fully optimistic that these kits will be fine enough oob or with the aftermarket parts that should logically released soon after by companies like voyager or blast models.. Plus the current trend is to do a chain release of the same vehicle from 2-3 different companies so maybe trump, takom or meng are hinding something up their sleeve ?

These e-bay sellers are saying that estimated delivery is around July 13.. so the same as both regular stores in HK (HobbyEasy and Sincere Hobby).. but they are asking for very high shipping

Not wishing to offend anyone but the AMX-10 just looks ugly! I'd expect the French to have more flair and panache in their designs

But the VBL is nice....

Maybe it's because the pictured model turret is facing the rear

Hi Everyone;
IMHO I think both kits look Tops,

the AMX is the one that I am most looking forward to, as for AM sets the only thing that mite make the AMX better is A turned Alum, barrel and Resin Wheels as I am not A fan of the Rubber Type.

And these Two together just make Modeling French Armor more Appealing, and sitting next to the Tamiya Leclerc and the Meng AMX-30B2,--Now that makes to A Great Collection.

I think it might need some additional add-ons such as the Counter IED box/equipment.
It also looks like some of the AMX-10 RCRs in Afghanistan have the additional SEPAR armour.
It might work for OOB for the Mali mission.
I suspect we'll see a detail set from Blast Models before too long.

Hi Hisham,
Are you sure? Hobbyeasy still lists them as pre-order items from what I can see.
I share your excitement, can't wait for these to hit my doorstep :-)
A VAB would be a perfect next release. Loooong overdue.

Well, they deducted the amount from my credit card and my order is listed as "Confirmed and ready to ship", and they only do that when the kits are actually there and ready to be shipped.. Also, Sincere Hobby announced on their FB page that they are now in-stock

Thanks Hisham,
They must have run out immediately, since they are listed as "preorder" again. I guess there are a lot of us who placed preorders :-)

Actually, Daniel just contacted me.. he said that the kits are with the delivery company (I think that's what he meant) and that they will be delivered to him tomorrow

No counter IED systems on vehicles in the first years of the war.
For late period you can also add a wire cutter.

Service life of the VBL in the French Army will be extended to 2030, thanks to an upgrade program (engine, brakes, suspension and gearbox) :
http://forcesoperations.com/le-vbl-rempile-pour-15-ans/So maybe will see more variants in 1/35th scale in the future...

Here's what the upgraded VBL looks like :

Maybe that would be something for Blast models to do

with all his VAB updates maybe that would not be impossible...
I would be happy if someone release the last version they had in Afghanistan
