Well that's the Sprue from this kit, I plan on building it straight from the box. No extra parts.
I wonder sometimes if anyone is really interested in my builds ?

Oh yes we are. Keep building and I will follow this one carefully as about 6 months from now, my LHS will get one in.

Sorry to say but it is taking forever for these images to load. I am going to take a guest that these are not compressed jpegs but maybe full sized tifs???

it resizes the images for Armorama's page size

I'm not sure if they are compressed or not, I have reduced the resolution from very high to a resolution of 600 by 800.
They are stored on Microsofts Sky Drive, formerly the Cloud.
I'm not very good with computers, and it's very time consumeing to resize the Pics. and post them. I'm trying.

I just checked The Pics. are jpeg and are not directly from my computer.
I have Verizon for my ISP and have no control over how the pics. go out.

You might check with Darren, the Editor in Chief , maby he knows why they load so slowly. I'm at a complete loss here.

I have started the build.

Here are the assembled Road Wheels.


They give you a choice of outer Drive Sprockets.


You need to take care when joining the inner & outer wheels as the joints are beveled , other wise the pair will be wider on one side & narrow on the other.

The Drive Sprockets have a loose fit, be sure to square the inner and outer teeth up or you may have trouble fitting the track.


The Return Rollers are keyed.

I have had problems with the slow download too but it is worth the small wait to see your work! Plus side is that I can click on the photo and get a large easier to view image. I have been following all of your projects and have gotten a ton of info from each! Whatever you do, keep them coming please!

Donald - I am also a fan of your builds. I am particularly interested in this one, because I have wanted to build a T-10 for a long time, and this post will help me decide whether to get the Meng or the Trumpeter kit. Thanks a lot for your efforts and keep the projects coming!

Thanks Guys, I'm glad this is useful to you. This is why I'm doing this. I have the twin Flak 40 from Takome lined up to do after this is finished.

I have seen the Trumpeter kit, man is there a lot of Photo Etch there. I was thinking about getting it and doing a double comparison build, but I really really really don't like the Photo etch.

That's the reason why I went with the Meng kit, that and the rear turret stowage.

OMG! I just remembered, I have already built a T 10 from Tamiya. It was a while ago and it really had "rubber band" tracks. This was late '60's early 70's. I loved that model. I wonder if I still have it?

Man I'm really getting forgetful, I forgot to take Pics. of the instalation of the Torsion Bar mounts #A5, A6, G32, & G33.
You can see them on the lower hull no biggie here the fit is Excellent The critical parts are shown in the following Pics.

Here is a bottom Pic. The instructions are a little confusing for me .


I installed G28 & G36 where A27 & A28 is supposed to go, lucky I caught it before the glue set up so I could correct it.

There are pins on the front 2 pairs fo torsion bar arms they take the small connectors as shown. Also the last pair of torsion bars fit the same.

The Blue & White are masking to keep the paint off where the wheels go .

Next I'll be working on the upper hull.

Started on the upper hull, I installed the Grills, & panels on the upper hull before adding the fittings to them. This will give me something more to hold onto.


Now for the small bitts.
