Hi all,
Does anyone have Live Resin LRE35144 1/35 M2 Browning .50 Caliber Machine Gun Body set? Does it come with 3 guns or only one gun?
https://models-hobby.com/m2-browning-50-caliber-machine-gun-body.html
Thank you.
James

I find this offering of theirs to be curious. They give the quick change barrel carry handle but there is no slotted collar which was also integral to the M2A1 Quick Change Barrel modification. I suppose the it can be used to depict the earlier M2s if you omit the handle? Or you can use the QCB handle if you're not too picky

I have several of these sets and they are really nice compared to what comes with the kits. My only issue is that I have not been able to find any AM manufacturer that makes a right-hand feed M2. Its gonna be a pain in the butt to sand off the charging handle detail without flubbing up the whole piece. I think rearranging the feed pawls/stops will be easier than the charging handle - but there in is why I purchased several sets.

The best AM .50 cal I've used so far is Asuka (TASCA) set. I'd even dare to say it's better than resin n metal ones. I just ordered these to see how they fare. Thanks all.

Just got them from model-hobby.com. Took less than expected coming from Russia. Very very nice set. I like them as much as the Asuka set and as detailed as the metal AM barrels.
I must say Live-Resin has revolutionized the resin AM accessories market - like Alpine did for figures and Meng for modern AFVs.

Yes James. I agree. The TASCA are as good or better than some brass offerings, especially with the blue metal barrels. I have added LR sights and/or PE fold up iron sights and pin chains to the TASCA .50 to get the ultimate. I agree.

There's two types of quick change barrel:
The FN M2 QCB (circa 1989 onward) which does not have the key way cut into the receiver-extension; and,
The M2A1 QCB, designed by Picatinny Arsenal, which is as you described.
The Live Resin appears to depict the former, and is accurate.
