Sorry for not getting back to you sooner guys...
Thanks John! I have a bunch of dirt and mud in mind at the moment!!
Thanks Danny...and thanks for hanging in there!
You too Dustin! All is well. Ben bogged down with work and now some model show stuff. Away for a week for the AMPS Nationals in South Carolina. Slapping this one back on the bench when I get back!!

Finally...I pulled my head out of my butt long enough to sit at the bench and work on something! I managed to put a couple nights in on the M9 and work up the base a bit.
Looks like this one is heading into the weathering both!!

Nice build. I just finished this kit and it is really nice. My only gripe is that the tracks are very difficult to put together without breaking the little pins which connect them. Outside of that no issues. Again nice build.

Thanks Dustin! Should be fun adding some more mud effects!
Thanks Shawn! I agree! The tracks are very similar to Bronco's movable tracks where as the little pins sometimes just round over when snapped together. I treated these like magic tracks and once the tracks were set, I dabbed glue in the joints to secure them. Of course all the mud almost makes the whole track process mute at this point...LOL!

Thank you Christophe! I don't know too much about the resin kit, but I know you will enjoy the styrene version! Have fun! Maybe dueling sand-diggers are in the future for you!!

Another update within a couple days...pretty good for me lately! I decided to play around with the ground work a little more. I interjected a some color with grassy stuff and muddy water. I am thinking I am ready to head into a more select weathering stage and bring this one down to the finish line!
Back to the bench....thanks for stopping in!

This one is getting close now I think! I pulled out some of Vallejo's new Weathering Effects that I had the chance to get my hands on.
I am liking the Mud and Grass mix! Like One-Stop-Shopping! LOL!
Pulled out some European Thick Mud to build up the areas...
I still need to bang around with some light weathering on other areas, and of course general cleanup, but things are moving in the right direction I think!
As always...thanks for tuning in!!
