Thanks for the photos of the bed.
Bad luck I didn't saw them before the surfracer...
Well, you were pointed toward my article showing among other the correct bed configuration in the first reply in this thread...

I want to buy the A2 wheels/tires for mine. But I want the tread pattern portrayed on the box.

Still not too late. Just cover the bed floor with a piece of 0.015 sheet styrene. It looks more realistic too.

Hobby Fan HF803, I've bought them a few years ago. They are nice but expensive.

The Big Foot gets a color of US Modern Armour from AK Interactive with some highlights.
My airbrush (H&S Infinity Plus) is making some troubles...
As you see on the hood it spit with the paint. The thickness of the paint is ok, I've tried with several colours befora - all the same effect. Even the water or any dilluted things is the same effect. What is wrong?
I've made the interior.
Let me know with the airbrush issue if you got any idea.

Looking nice. Question about the term used on wheels...CTIS. What does it stands for so I can see the difference in the two sets? TIA

central tire inflation system (CTIS) - increases or lowers tire pressure for different types of terrain or driving conditions.
You can generally ID by having a air pressure hose somewhere on the wheel hub center.

On wheels with CTIS you can see this triangular part on the rim for front wheels.
And square part and cable on the rim for rear wheels.

Still going on with the Big Foot.
The cabin got the decals, satin varnish and a strong dark wash. Also the fron windscreen is mounted.
The interior is ready to instal after the addition of the steering wheel
The base of the model is also at a final painting stage.
Still more to come.

Does anyone have an idea what in of figure will match the vehicle?
I mean the modern US driver inside the truck or in standing position next to it.
I'm not a real expert in modern stuff.
