Thanks for your help guys and for your kind words!

Flat coat helped loads with the shine, you can also see the base I made for it as a practise for my next projects!

Once again, thanks ARMORAMA for your help!

Welcome to our modelling community! Very nice, for your first time! Keep it up, don't get discouraged, have patience, and don't try to do too much at one time. When you have gained more experience, you might want to think about buying an airbrush- This will help you in ways that you can't even imagine until you try it!

GOOD LUCK in all your endeavors!!!

Thank you for your kind welcoming!

I decided to take a step back and try new things before I start my next project which is a 70x40 diorama with tanks and figures. I have no intention in rushing it so I keep collecting kits, paints and gear, read a ton a watch the entire youtube about scale modelling In the meantime Im working on my practise tray diorama where I placed the Saved Sherman, I was hoping I could get some advice on how to use the space, I was thinking there is already a lot but on the other hand it doesnt look detailed enough, definately the road needs re doin but im not sure how I wanna approach it.

I think you did a nice job. Keep it up. I am not sure if it was mentioned but a little oil paint wash (I use black oil paint mixed with thinner) on the stowage and tarps really brings out the details. Just a suggesting for your next dio. Good work and thanks for sharing.

Welcome to the site! You did a very nice job on your Sherman, especially for your first build. I don't think you overdid the weathering. Overall, it looks very good, and learning to do good weathering is not easy.

If I were going to make one suggestion it would be to put a coat of matt finish on your Sherman. It could just be the lighting in the photos but it looks a little too shiny to me.
