... To finish things off I made a rough copy of the movie poster for a background. A bit of artistic license but it is my tribute to these awesome Americans.
Wow! ... brilliant finish!!! 💥💥💥💥💥

Love the way this turned out Mr. Rutman! You are indeed a master and of the craft of story telling through your builds. Very inspirational and timely. Thanks for posting these pics.

I like it, nice finish. Drama for sure. Where did the greens come from?
Thanks man,
The greens are from Kamakazuri? Kamakazuki? Something like that. The paper company. From Japan,

Jerry-
WOW
Couldn't be on here for awhile, but boy Im glad I checked back in time for the finale on this excellent vignette.
The fact that you've dedicated this to those precious few souls who were asked to sacrifice everything they could, and did so, no squawks, is a testament to your passion for this moment in history.
And naturally, it seems, you portrayed them w/ the expertise of a master. Again.
Now to go back thru the pgs of "Get to the Elbe".
I have to admit I feel some shame for staying on the outside the bleachers for so long.
Great job,
Only the best buddy

Fantastic work as always Jerry. I like the little touches like the dogtags and unlaced boots on the contractor. That's just going into another dimension with figures. Not happy with exquisite painting you now go as far as taking peoples shoelaces out and painting individual teeth lol. Every build is a joy to follow. Keep it up mate..Karl

@Dave-thanks for coming off the peanut gallery bench and weighing in buddy! I am always tickled when somebody takes the time to type some lines. I know how busy folks are ,specially this time of year.
@Karl- Thanks buddy. Now that you brought the laces up I realize that I had intended to put the laces in there and show them loose and flopping around. Ah well, maybe another time. I should cut bait here and move on. Thanks !

Thanks all,for the nice comments and for following along with this one. They just had an article on the local news station about my Dad and his roll in Pearl Harbor so it was nice in some very small way to bring some remembrance to those guys from the wars' beginnings through this little vignette,
