The germans look great. I think more mud would look more realistic but would ruin the actual painted colors of the uniforms. I think you have enough mud. Can you tell us what kits the Germans are from and give us some close up pictures Pretty Please! I suspect they are ICM. Keep up the the great work and pictures!

Sorry for the delay...life, holidays, etc. But here they are, including some I took early in the morning.

Tim,
Really nice job on this large dio-- your figures and groundwork look stunning along with the Mark IV-- my only comment would be more mud along the top side of the vehicle tracks and the gun sponsons is needed. Period photos from Cambrai show these tanks took quite a beating, depositing mud all along the track line and atop the vehicle sponsons and between the tracks at the front. The attack was in late NOV and the morning temperatures were cold, but photos show the earth was not completely frozen. Many of the tanks were also equipped with "spuds" for traction as well because of the condition of the ground. However, even with that comment, your diorama is magnificent!

Thanks for the tip! I did some "dirtying," but I've probably tended to not do quite as much as I should. What you suggest will be a fairly easy thing to do before I take it to our Hobby Club next week.

Cheers,

Tim W.
