My comments yesterday were childish and unwarranted. To that, I apologize to everyone here on this site. I will see myself to the door.
Well said, Ken. If by showing yourself the door you mean leaving the Kitmaker Network, I do hope you'll reconsider; If you're man enough to own your mistake, then I trust you're man enough to learn from it and choose your words with a bit more care in the future.

I will ask the owner of Masterbox about bare-breasted Amazons on horses on next Nuremberg show. THEN someone can go nuts!
As long as they're brandishing swords and spears I'll buy one (or two)!

Most loathsome comment I've seen on a modeling website in a long time. This is Armorama, not 4chan. Keep the ugly Americanism where it belongs.

Then you, sir, are very unfamiliar with the Asian hobby market. The Japanese love this stuff. This is especially disconcerting considering several people have remarked on the success of the shows featuring these types of items. Did you not read through the thread?

No I've not read all the tread because my English is not very good and I don't understand all people say.
But I'm not japanese and I don't like at all those strange releases.

I kind of like the fact that Masterbox is willing to put some odd stuff out there and take risks. More model companies should and while I'm not sure what I would do with these figures if I got them, it is nice that they are putting some oddities like this out there.

Apart from the bible belt types I doubt most would find these offensive. The lolita/ gothic lolita/ cosplay movement is huge in Asia and is making a firm foothold in N. America. I'd rather see girls dressed like this instead of girls twirking in micro skirts, low rider pink sweat pants with "Juicy" or "Daddy's Girl" emblazoned on the butt - all available for your thirteen year old at the local Walmart.
These figs might just be the civilians I need for my JSDF figures and Hitachi Excavator.

How about some S & M figures? I understand that is popular in some circles.

Quoted TextMaybe my problem, but how on earth do you come from these funny figures to porn? To me it looks that in the USA showing a bare knee is already tricky! ( but maybe the standards will change after DT enters The Office?)
I guess the Masterbox staff sees a market for this kind of modelling. Why otherwise invest quite some mony in the moulds, marketing etc.
Porn? Ahum......
How does my personal opinion represent the the United States of America? Hate Americans and our 2nd amendment much? I'll bet your grand mother loved Americans...while your Grandfather hid in a closet and the German army rolled over your country. Pretty fed up with ungrateful countries like yours blaming all the world's problems on us. A simple thank you for us saving your sorry ass will suffice. Now... want to bring it back to just model building jackass?

I retract my first comment.
To each his own.
Not my choice of figures, but yes maybe for someone else.
Lets just get back to armor.

Just realized; there's only two figs to a set. If I'm going to buy something naughty I expect more than just that!

Timothy,
That picture is just plain wrong---should be an assault rifle, rather than a shotgun...

Well, you can look up Mascot figures. Pretty sure they have anything you might want in that area! Way too hardcore for my tastes that's for sure.
Michael
P.S. Obviously NSFW if you choose to go looking for them....

Don't have to be bare breasted. But a few "classic fantasy" figures in the style of the old "Conan" or "Dray Prescot" covers or the (clothed) Vallejo and Frazetta drawings - why not. Cheaper than what is currently available in metal/resin and I like ie. what they did in their fantasy series or with their "pit crew" girls.
==========
An "inverse Frazetta/Vallejo" would be fun as well. Did that once with reenactors and a picture.

They look young. They appear provocative and sexualized. Enough said. TO EACH HIS OWN. Fetishism is not a crime. It actually is preferable to the usual Nazi fetishism and far less offensive than the portrayals of the noble SS figures we see too often.

These are great to see. I would love to see some fantasy figures too. Elves, dwarves etc. Medieval knights, Crusaders and more.

Thanks for the link...most definitely interested in these and the 2 MB figure sets just released. As to looking like porn, anyone remember the Benny Hill show with his girls running around with pasties on? You'll NEVER see any show like that on a U.S. tv show.
No doubt these figures are for the Asian market, but also how about figures that have been released with at least 1 Hasegawa aircraft kit based on Japanese animation series? What I'd REALLY like to see are figures from the series High School Of The Dead along with a bunch of modern women of different nationalities and clothing styles from the 1960's to today in 1/35th scale.
Already trying to figure out how to use these figures in a HOTD/zombie diorama.

I remember the Benny Hill Show. That and Monty Python were my favorites. And the girls in Benny Hill weren't always wearing pasties!
