I managed to get paint on the driver's windshield, thankfully, I can cover it with an armored shield.

Ken,
Paint job looks awesome. Never seen sandbags that look like laundry bags before, or are they laundry bags?...LOL
Nice job, look forward to the final photos.

Had the discussion on the SB's back on page 32. Ken was going for this look
and you have to admit, he did a fine job too!

That's a great result on your M13/40's paint job!

Yes, I agree. That is some very nice work Johhar.
If you want to go that little bit extra in your builds, little things like cables really add something to the visual appeal. The cable running from under the aerial to the receiver box, etc.
In the case of the 251 Ausf C, the head light and Notek Light cables are quite prominent and a bit of wire add to your model would make it look even better.

Thanks for comments, suggestions, and reference photos. I can see I've got more work on this one, which is why it's good there's a while before the hourglass runs out on the campaign.

My Stuart is coming along, here's the traverse wheel mounted, hopefully in the right location
The original metal and solder attempt with it's troublesome glue
And ready for paint
It has had a coat of primer and the first colour since this photo, and now I just have to choose which scheme to go for as I have four possibilities I can use for the one tank depending on what reference source I use.
Don't you feel more like you do now than you did when you came in?

That is one glop of glue on that wheel. Your Steward is looking fine.

Iain, that wheel looks like something from the set of Alien! The Honey is looking good.

A final update so the wire counters can sleep peacefully, and three pictures in the gallery. Back to the Dragon 2018 campaign.

1 - 2 - 3 . Yes Johhar all is good in the wire counting world
Very nice indeed.
Iain, nice work. Caunter is so hard to paint keeping it look like straight lines when it has to go around and over other bits. Looks great.

Thanks guys. There's a few touch ups needed, but they may also get hidden under weathering.
I also have a Caunter Valentine for my British Brigade build to look forward to.

Paint is on. I went with the scheme in M3 & M5 Stuart Light Tank 1940-45 from Osprey books.
iain,
That Honey is a Honey! Nice chose of colors. I am surprised by how little the paint did get under the masking. I don't see any over the rough areas only along the smooth. The same problem I had doing my Matilda, I was more focus on sealing the rough areas I fail to do the same on the smooth areas.

Thank you all.
Iain, I have never attempted one of those caunter camo schemes, though I've often been tempted. I was one of those kids who never could color within the lines.
