One of this is waiting in my stash.
I'm not sure if I will ever gather enough courage to start it...
Perhaps this post gives me the needed kick in my butt.
Please keep those pics coming!!!

I have a little more finished, here's a shot of the front instruments .
The side air intakes ?
I'm not shure if I got this right, the instructions are rather unclear on how it goes together.

Those might be armored movable covers over the air intakes? Swung down before launch

The upper and lower hulls are joined.
You really don't need to fill under the fenders, you can't see much there.

Just a short one this time.
I installed the clear parts & masked them with the masks from the kit.
The doors are temporarily installed.
I'm working on the headlight guards next, they are something else.

I'll be working on the upper hull next.

Wow! That's very nice work on the tracks, Donald! I think that's where I stopped on my Tunguska...all those two-piece track links, 117 per side. Maybe I'll get them put on this weekend.
Does anyone have a trick for keeping the tracks from sticking to the road-wheels? I want to assemble the entire length of tracks then detach them for painting once the cement has dried. I had an idea about cutting strips of parchment paper to wrap around the wheels and slice the paper between the two wheels so the guide-horns can pass through. It looks like a lot of work though.

See Pics #016 to #018 on this or any of my builds, I use a jig to hold the track in line then apply liquid glue sparingly to the joints. Then before the glue sets up I bend the track run around the road wheels and sprocket to get the track run. Let it set up but don't join the ends together. Once it sets up you can remove and paint it .

I think you might find this next section interesting.
First off here is what you get in the kit.
I thought they looked rather flimsy so I made my own.
Here is how I did it.
