Thanks. Under paint though it really starts to show a lot of flaw, most of my doing. Really need to be a lot more careful when I start my Grant and M31'.

Coming along nicely. I have a GRant I'm hoping to start soon and am very tempted to get the Lee too.

I hope the Bronco tracks fit your sprockets. Their Diehl 640 tracks (labelled for AS90 but same track as Leopard 1) don't fit the Takom Gepard sprockets. At least you didn't spill glue on the grant ones and you have a plan B.



The Bronco track links will fit - but only just. Fit is very tight and I don't recommend fitting them until the cement you use to assemble the tracks is FULLY cured.
Still, as you say, more work, but certainly better than what is provided with the kit.

As for the drive sprocket itself, you need to remove the bolts from the inner face of the drum. I have no idea why Takom put them there - completely fictional for this application.
