Some accessories, ammo trailer lid etc are not fixed yet, will do this later, when i will make decisions on the display of the kit. Thanks to campaign admin for this great group build. It was real joy. See you all in next campaigns!

Marc-what size image are you trying to load? When I have that problem it's usually because my image size is very large.
Good luck,
Don "Lakota"

I think that is why it didn't work the first time, so i reszied them. Guess i could resize again.

Love the Camo finish Lapman. Looking great.

Mr K another sensational build. Only comment I can make is, is it possible to remove track links? The Gepard tracks are tensioned and the most sag they get is this:

My Contribution:

Matchbox 1/76 scale M16 Halftrack. Rear 'wall' of the Quad mount cut away and replaced with scratch built struts, braces, battery, motor, fuel tank, etc. Added scratch built stowage and tarps, gear levers, etc. Gauges are white and red decal film punched out of spare water slide decals. Looked bare without them.

My idea was to enhance, not replace, so all of this is kit parts. Base was also enhanced. Hope you like it.

I finally finished this kit. It was probably one of the most frustrating builds and I'm just glad it's done. Vague part placement and really fiddly, fragile pieces were a constant. I had to watch a Polish "sales" video to find out where some of the parts went and what some were (shell ejection chutes). It's 1/48 so it's going to be a piece for my 28mm wargame table, but my plan of building a total of 3 is not happening. The last pic shows one of the wheels that came off, not much pressure was needed! The finish isn't too good, but at that point almost anything would break parts off; it fell to "good enough!" to get it done and not have it exiled to a box.

Really nicely done John. Glad to see despite the frustrations, you not only wrestled the beast into submission, but got it to sit up and behave.

If you edit your post and remove all the "/thumbs" from your image URL, it will link to the full size pic here, not the thumbnail ones.

Cheers

Hi Pawel

First How big are your pics. If they are too large they will not upload. Check out the size restrictions for the Kitmaker gallery. I resize mine to 800 x 600 pixels and 96 DPI to keep them reasonably sized and detailed. I use a free program IrfanView to resize mine.

Then make sure you are logged in. Sounds obvious, but people forget.

Then use the Link to the Gallery which is at the top right of the page:

Then follow the path to the campaign page by clicking on the options in order - Campaigns, then 2018 Campaigns, then the Anti-Aircraft Campaign. The top of your screen should look like this and all the latest campaign pics should be visible on screen

Then, go up to the right hand side of the screen and press "Upload Photos"

Go down to the section as per the image below and press 'Browse' and go to the folder and pic you want to upload

When the box next to 'Browse' has your location, go down to the bottom of the screen and press 'Upload/Submit'

Then your pic should be added to the gallery.

I hope this helps

I tried posting my finish pics last night but kept getting a mysql Error (1040) message. I am at work so I can't do anything right now but can I post when I get home and get credit? I have a screenshot of the error message I can post for verification.

I also offer as evidence the 12-hour gap you can see in the posts made since yesterday.

Pawel, glad you were able to get your pictures posted, great Flakvierling.

Zon, good work with that ancient kit.

eMan, your Flakpanzer 38(t) is taking shape nicely - love the camo. Not to mention the fact that you‘ve gone over the deadline, too, just like me.

Mr. K, fantastic Gepard with the three-tone camo. What were your impressions of the Meng kit? I‘ve only built the Takom one (which was good).

Peter, great little vignette + nice detailling for 1/72.

John, your ZU-23-2 might have been a pain but you whipped it into shape, good job.

Mike, I‘m not usually into armored trains but your car with Coelian turret looks cool.

As for my Tunguska, I‘ll just keep working on it into the weekend and hope that John P. won‘t pull the plug. I managed to mostly clear the next couple of days, so I want to finish by Sunday at the latest, or maybe even before.

Good job to all those who‘ve finished (and I haven‘t commented on) and good luck to those who haven‘t yet.

Hi,
Jbranca, thank you for your kind words about our builds.
The Meng's Gepard kit is very good and detailed, except the plastic in dark green color. It's difficult to recognize and fix the tiny parts.

Peter Battle, you are right about the track chain. The instruction says that 85 links each side and I follow that. Maybe I will cut one link off each side to straighten them. Thanks for your notice.

See you in another campaign.

Thanks Jerry

Mike's Drasine has a Kugelblitz turret not the Coelian turret - but you knew that.

Pawel, glad to see you got a pic up finally.

I'm sure we will meet up again in another Build Mr K - I enjoy watching what you put together.

Jerry, if you PM John before the end of the build he usually gives a week or 2 extension if there are a few guys promising to complete. Might still be worth a shot.

Thanks for hosting the build and thanks everyone for joining in. It has been great seeing such a variety of well made models. Until next time, take care.
