Mike,
Nice work, it looks like something out of Star Wars. I like it.

Hi Mark,
Those are ammunition boxes - the quad guns are pretty... hungry for bullets

Martin,
Time for new glasses. I thought it was a little excessive.

It is OK - they are too small - this in 1/72 scale. Moreover - the picture angle is not good, so it is possible...

Hello!
After a long time, I managed to finish my project in the campaign. Here are the final photos. The model (8,8cm Flak41) is painted in a 1943 standard color for the Germans (Dark Yellow). The wound is filled with Gunze's metallisers and AK pigments.
It was a pleasure for me to participate in the campaign.

Peter, Marк, Don, thanks for the nice words.
Martin, I think you've had an incredible effect. The camouflage does its job, even under the conditions in which you took the pictures. I like.

I have been working slowing. I've made a couple small mistakes along the way and fixing them as i go. Also, i am adding a fewmore details if i can.
I am going to build it in tow mode. Still need to build the wheel assemblies.
The shield is a little warped. I need to see if i can bend it a little with out killing it
Very nice work. Congratulations. I look forward to the sequel.

I am hoping to get some work done today. Lots of scraping and sanding with the old molds. But i am liking the kit.

I started to spray the camo the other day. Oy! First off, wrong color! Second, the camo lines had "ghost" lines from my air brush - secondary light line beside the main line.
Took apart the AB and had a good ole time cleaning a couple spots that, I believe, will have solved that problem. I was a little . I Repainted the base color and now awaiting some bench time.
Kalin, that Flak 41 is sweet. I love the BIG guns like that. Well done Sir!

Monster Tractor!?!?
Here's a DB10 Sd.Kfz.8 (gepanzerte) from Luftwaffe. Big beast, but produced in a small series (20 pieces).
I think it was a good solution for the time it appears.

Initial camo on. Turret is hard edged with Dark Yellow, Schokolade Braun, and Olivgrun. Body is Dark Yellow and Olivgrun but soft edged. Some clean up and weathering will be needed to tone it down and blend.

Interesting Kit Andras. Nicely done too.
Iain, good choice. Nothing like Tamiya build-ability. I was thinking the same kit, but I'm running short of time. I have other GB's to finish first and will be away next month.... I may need to get a real quick build in.
So I'll do a 'virtual build' next to yours
