Hi Colin. I think you missed the part where the pic showed these were 1/72nd scale, not 1/35th, so no Fruils. Which only highlights how manipulating such tiny links would be a nightmare (to me at least) in itself.
Closest would be resin ones like OKB Grigorov, but I think these are all just lengths, no individual links, so you have to heat them and bend them around the drive sprocket and idler.
I guess for 'Braille scalers' it is pick your poison....

I'm probably going to bow out of this one. I was going to build the Meng ZPU-1 from their Pickup Truck kit. Mine has a few malformed parts. I've assembled it but am not happy with how it looks so I'm not going to worry with it.
If I come across a different kit and there's time I may jump back in.
For fun, here's a what-if AA what-if vehicle I did last year. You might get a kick out of it.

Construction is finished on my mobelwagen. Main parts ready for base color and then some hard edge brush painted camo afterwards.

Jesper,
I would say that is non-standard AAA weapon. Sure the Germans wish they were issue it.
Nice build.

Nice Jesper. Kind of what I would expect to have come together in the sci fi 'World War' series of books by Harry Turtledove - how Aliens invaded during WW2 and their alien tech was stolen and used to enhance and develop Earth Tech of the time.

Looking good so far Kalin. I note a bit of scratch built detail added too. Nice.

The PE tracks are disaster... Too hard to paint them ( primed them with Mr. Surfaser 1000), missing links, poor fitting. I need a solution for the missing links. maybe I'll use some plastic links from the kit box..
Sorry about the pic quality - the weather is bad and hard to get good pics today.

A fairly obvious solution I know, but:

PE tracks, I never heard of them until now. Seems to me you could easily bend them out of shape during assembly.

I'll change the PE tracks with plastic tracks from the kit. I'm really disappointed from myself and from the PE tracks.

Thank you for the compliments.
Peter, every part of the kit is out of the box. I have not added elements.
The model is really quite detailed. Now both Sd.Anh.202 should be assembled.

Beautiful camouflage on the mobelwagen, Igor. The disc camouflage looks spot on.
