Hi,
I've finished my 1:72 GAZ AA truck. Apart from some very visible defects, I am quite happy with the effort. I enjoyed the build and learned some new tricks. It still looks more like a toy rather than model, but i will get there one day. Thank you for letting me join in!

Ready for a coat of paint
The large tracking radar was a pain as the two halves are separated by rods, which are individual items rather than being moulded onto one half, so alignment is a pain. otherwise its a fairly easy build so far

Looks very nice K. Glad you had fun. Thanks for joining in.
Doing the easy bits first Martin... tracks last? .
Colin, that sure is an impressive looking Kit. That radar unit looks very busy. That is going to need some intricate painting.
Quick build Igor. Nice pre-shading/modulation on the gun unit.
Darius, do a bit of research on the kit before you start. I am building the 6/3 Diana for the Crusader to Gazala build. There are a few things to watch out for, like the front axle being too short and needing modification and Torsion bar placement that may prevent the tracks from sitting flat on the ground.

Thanks Peter!
research was done well before buying, but to be honest forgot those points by now Sad announced cab fix kit never became reality, very nice kit otherwise. In any case will look good when finished.

Sure is Peter, some very small bits with awkward attachments, but goes together easy enough. Just shooting through with some Vallejo Russian green primer at the mo, which seems a bit dark, but i'll work on it

Is an interesting choice of paint scheme for a 'Removal van'...
With some more work that is going to look quite effective.

Kind of..
I'm working on the tracks right now - I have not enough time for building, so it will take me few more days to finish.

That is about 10 days more patience than I would have... They do look rather good though.
