Here are my finished photos for the Campaign
British AED

The same photos are in the campaign gallery.
Lots of great models in the campaign. Looking forward to the final push to get them done.

Very nice! Nice subtle weathering. And is it my imagination or is the canvas flapping in a breeze?

The answer is yes, but not intentional.
The kit came with a thin paper for you to cut the canvas cover to size, but I tried to use a thinned white glue to attach it to the frame it didn't behave. It was also too white, so I tried to tone it down and it curled some more, so I'm taking the stance that it is flapping in the breeze.

Hi All,
I will be joining the campaign with this shelf queen, a T-74 from AMT. I started building this kit for another campaign. I will not be correcting the dimensional and shape mistakes, but enhancing some of them to create a "unique" looking T-72.

I had DML's Sd.Kfz.251 Neu with all sorts of Royal models sets sitting in a box, well, since 2006.
1.
Starting. I very quickly realised it was going to be a difficult build. (I got the model from someone who also felt it was somewhat of an ambitious project, and decided to sell it.)

2.
After 12 years, and a couple of moves (from Miami to Budapest to London) later I decided to finish this thing once and for all.

Pictured next to a DML 251, and a ESCI 7.5-CM L.I.G. 18, both of which have also spent considerable amount of time sitting unfinished. So it's a 3-in-1 campaign for me. Most of my shelf-queens are not done. I can be free now.

...to start new kits, so now I have a Takom and a RFM Panther, a Straussler V-4, and a lot of figures in-progress.

Looking good everyone!
Some more progress on the Takom Merkava Mk.1.

I'm usually a wingey thingey guy, so I'm quite surprised by the number of tiny, fiddly parts on this tank, especially on the turret. The Black Hole has only sucked in three parts so far and I've managed to scratch build relatively usable replacements. Just about paint time!

Deadlines are fine. At work. But i've come to the realization that deadlines and hobbies don't work for me. It ends up looking to much like work and that's not what i want. Above all i want hobbies to be fun.
With that realization i've decided to stop all groupbuilds, campaigns etc. that i've started. Of course i'll keep watching the often amazing builds i see coming along in the campaign threads, i'll just not participate anymore.
And since i consider it somewhat rude to just drop out without notice... well, there's this notice

@Cameron: love how the robot turned out. Awesome!!

I know how that feels Michael and I was building the Tamiya Merkava. I'm sure the Takom is more difficult. But, you're almost there!
Goof, I can sympathize with that. But realize that you don't HAVE to finish a campaign. Heck, that's what this campaign is all about! My Merkava has been in 3 of these campaigns and is yet to be painted! I probably won't finish my Garage Queen entry but at least the campaign got me a lot further.

I enlisted ( again i think) with this Dragon 7/2 flakvierling. I started it i think around 2014 for a Dragon build campaighn. Due to a couple of mistakes where i screwed up parts, i parked it on the side. Now it is time to finish.

Last month of the campaign. December is usually a slow month due to the Holidays. I am still hoping to finish mine!

Howdy Y'all
I got to work a little on the 1/48 Tamiya KV-II.
I didn't like the original paint job as I thought it was too dark, especially for 1:48 scale.

I lightened it up a little today in an airbrush session.

Next up-some drybrushing highlights and green filter.
Take care,
Don "Lakota"
