Yes, it proves you can make a silk purse out of a sow's ear. Very nice detailing work Bill.

I was digging through the stash and this fell out. ACE models TOS 1 in 1/72. Not normally my scale but I thought I might join in the fun.

Bill: Thanks for the kind words. Your Missile Jet War Launcher looks good, especially the driver poking his head out. Part of me really wants you to paint it just how it is, in the same radiation green, with the white rivets and maybe white highlights on the fenders, like a parade vehicle. Anyway, I'm sure it will look fantastic when you are done.
Martin: nice work on the weathering. Looks great.
Chris and Scott: Welcome aboard!
Happy Modeling,
Zon

Just a small update here. The tires are attached to the chassis. I know about the lines on the tires and tried to fix it, but the rubber is so soft.. I will try something addition to cover them.

Mark and Chris. Looking great guys.
I have started the etch on the Lion Roar nebel. It is trying my patience, so many fiddly pieces, especially the 3 rails per tube that have to be glued inside. I am doing a bit on it between other builds.

Thanks Mark C., Peter, and Zon.
Martin, great weathering on your build.
Chris, glad to see the counterpart to my build here. Yours is a much better kit!
Scott, cool choice. That's a serious launcher.
Jesper, great choice. That's one of my favorite Hanomag variants.
Mark, your Hotchkiss with rocket launcher looks good.

Update on the BM-8-24.
Started painting on the upper hull and launcher.
I used an old decal set from ESCI for Soviet tanks. I had a problem with the edges curling up. Careful trimming with a sharp blade removed the problem pieces.
I started the weathering process on the upper hull and launcher. I also built and painted the rockets.
That's all for now. Thanks for viewing. Happy modeling.
