Greetings,friends! After Magirus I decided to build something that I well know. British cruiser tanks is my favorite topic, so I decided to build A13. Unfortunately it is a very rare model on forums. That's why I will investigate all by myself. Fortunately we have one survived vehicle in Bovington.



This model is quite good. I don't change everything. All nuts are fuzzy. Plastic is very fragile. You need to be carefull evrytime you work with knife or drill. The instruction is incomprehensible, so I build everything in my way.



I bought some aftermarket years ago. Hull plate from Tiger Model etc. But I haven't decided yet will I substitude it or not. It is not very difficult but causes other problems with engine plate. At first look you will need to do new grills.



I started with lazy. Don't be very stricked. Some nuts are missing. Some not glued. Some places need putty. All of this will be in future stages.

You definitely need to take care of fuzzy nuts...

I'm sure you know already, but the decals in this kit may be quite thick and inflexible.

Curious the way the top of the 1st Armoured Div badge is under that hinged flap. Maybe the flap has been repainted.

I have this one in the stash as well as an A9 and A10. I'm building the Italerie Crusader AA at the moment, and whilst I have added a lot of missing (scratch built a whole new correct sized turret floor and basket, and an exhaust) and soft detail (nuts, etc), I not gone to the same extent of detail as you do Artyom. I kind of wish I did now. It is a kit the cries out for love and attention.

Since these pics I have replaced the brass foot rests with thicker gauge styrene rod and shortened them to proper length, plus added detail to the floor.

Very well done Peter! I already like the result. I want to build Crusader one day but I really hope that Bronco will produce it in future. To be true I don't want to scratch Italeri and Revell.

Some WIP. It is only half of what I want and have to do with rear. Many thing will be added later. And if you have good photos or information about moments on a first photos marked with red I will be very greatful.

Lower armor plate is missing on a tank in Bovington. And holders... Are they on hatches?

And. I see on photos that my work with workable panel with hinges is not perfect and details are not straight. And a panel seem to me is to thin. Sometimes only macro can give us an answers about quality of scratch. I will do a new panel.

Lack of time, very little progress. I reworked previous version. Rear is ready only at 70%. Much work ahead. I am not satisfied with some moments. I think I could do better but....

However Your row of bolts between the tow points on the vertical panel appears to be too high. Your row would be just under where the red line is here in the pic:



The row should be slightly below the central line that would be between the middle and bottom bolt head on the tow point mounts

and their position seems to be nearly central between the row of bolts on the lower panel

It is the rear plate in the pic Brian. The first few pics show the front without any plates added, just the detail on the idler mount.

Hello,Robert! In true I am not satisfied. I think I can do better. But I work with only rear plate 3 weeks. So I think I can do only worse so decided to stop.

Uf. That work makes me mad. When you go futher - things become harder. I don't think I can win this battle. Maybe a draw. I am trying to substitude some details and make this tank look like abandoned and crushed. Exhaust cover I made from thin aluminium to make some dents on it.



Much work ahead. Some lines I will correct in the end , they are not parallel.
