Here is my second finished project. I had finished it simultaneously with the Sturmgeschütz IV project that I have uploaded here as well.

Nice paint job.

Should try to correct that warped barrel by using gentle finger pressure
and working it in the opposite direction of the warp.

Also curious about that unit marking...what does it represent?

If I'm honest I don't know what it means exactly.
As far as history of the modell goes. I can tell that this Tiger II
belonged to the 501. Schwere SS Panzerabteilung that fought in the
Battle of the Bulge.
However, I can try to find some answers on the internet.

The circle with cross was a mark added by US troops after capture.

This Tiger has been topic of debate in the past. I had some on my HD.

Nice work, it's nice whenever one of us completes a model. I need to start working on my Elephant to complete it before the end of the year.

From what manufacturer is the kit off the Elefant? I do have a kit made of the Elefant off Revell. Isn't as good result as my current models. But I have it.
