Спасибо большое Питер
Thanks a lot, Peter! Today I sprayed Marabu Dull Coat all over, will now add the last parts and demask the canopy. My next photos here will be the finished Airacobra.

Okay, I call this build done. Most likely my last campaign in the old Kitmaker forums. Let's hope, we can build campaigns also in the new forum. Anyway, here comes Bella Irina ....
Bell P-39 Q Airacobra "White 103", Soviet Air Force, 213. Guards IAP, Germany, Spring 1945
Kit: Eduard 1/48
The fitting of the propeller is not really glamorous but that's mainly my fault. The formation light panel on the underside of the wing is just a decal, but it's better than nothing. More and better photos soon in my new Assembly Line Thread over in the new forum.
Thanks for running this campaign! It was a nice surprise for me as I planned a VVS Cobra anyway when I noticed this campaign.
Happy modelling and take care!

That's a great contribution! It was fun to watch it come together and it's a great result.

Very nice build, Torsten!
I really need to knuckle down and get back to the workbench sometime soon. As far as my build updates, I most likely won’t post anything until the campaign has been transferred to the brandy-new KitMaker.

I created a Lend Lease campaign thread in the new forums. Hopefully an editor will come along and make that a sticky. Folks should feel free to post there or here for now.

After spending a couple of fruitless hours trying to upload some progress photos, I’ll try on the new site.
Awesome build Torsten. That’s a beautifully subtle paint job as well.

So I think I’ll double post for a while on both this and the new forum. I will try and add photos to this thread when the site allows, but will be some on the corresponding post.
The M3 Stuart Honey is a nice little kit and my first foray into aftermarket PE as well. Bit of a learning curve and learning by trial and error some of the pieces are exceptionally small and I’ve had to cobble a improvised Blutack and cocktail stick tool to handle some of it. It’s slow going as I’ve already spent considerable time searching for bits in the carpet - how do such small bits travel so far?!?
So far the kit fit has been good, although a dry fit suggests the interior doesn’t sit entirely flush, so the overhanging edges of the firewall have a gap above the inside of the fenders. I may have to do a bit of sanding and filling when it comes to put together.
I’ve left it as subassemblies to aid painting. I’ll also paint smaller items such as the browning before gluing in place as no conceivable way to get to it well otherwise.
Will have some more sanding to do before getting to painting and May have to get some CA debonder as been a little heavy handed on occasions.

I have not used this version or the new version of posting photos. I upload to imgur, then for each pic, select it, copy the bbc code, and drop it in here and the pic shows up. Don't know whether that will help you or not, but I find it pretty easy. (The imgur account I have is free).

Thanks Phil, I’ll give Imgur a go. For reference uploading to the new site is very simple. Tried it on both laptop and phone.

Can someone please direct me to the campaign gallery? I don't find it and want to upload my P-39.
Thanks!

I'm going to need some help here. Although I'm the campaign administrator, I don't know how to create a gallery, or, for that matter, how to find them.

Phil, ask Richard (GulfWarrior) for help. He will create the gallery. He also did that for me for the Leopard 2 Campaign.

I'm working on it! I keep getting a "server busy" error.
I've reached out to the boss to see what he can do.

Thanks Richard, but I have massive problems to upload even 1 photo .... This is the message I get from the server every time:
Typical reason is that the file exceeded allowed limits.
