I think the T55 is a very cool tank, That low profile with the long barrel just looks so cool. I like the way you removed a fender. Tell us about what you did. Kit traks or AM? They hang well.

I removed the fender with a motor tool, it was quite easy indeed

The tracks are from Modelkasten, they are very easy to handle and they look superb too. I never tried them before but I'm really satisfied

Hi Jurjen, Both the ground work and the 55 look very nice. The ground could use a bit more color..browns or greens. I see you use the Mig Pigments..how do you like them??
Why not make the whole plane out of the same material the blackbox is made from?

It was also the first time I used Mig Pigments, all I can say is that fantastic results can be achieved. They are very easy to handle and they look superb too

Very cool effect. On your way to being a master. I have no complaints, queries, or comments at this time (except of course this message).

well done jurjen,
you have a very nice model there. looks like a scene straight out of afganistan or africa! maybe a figure or two would bring the scene alive.
a couple of US troops surveying the tank?
cheers

I see you too have been looking at Tamiya Model Mag. The only thing I would change would be to tone down the rust on the exhaust heat shield. Maybe try adding a bit of the black smoke pigment if you have it. Also what is the red thing on the base? It almost looks like a giant piece of dynamite sticking out of the ground. Very nice job overall!

I'm with Mike on the exhaust...the only, IMHO, flaw in an otherwise excellent model. If there's no interior, you'll probably want to put the TC in the open hatch.
