not milfraset... Mifletzet
It's called "Nagmashon". You're right, it's a modification of a centurion chassis, an improvment of a Nagmashot (Nagmash = APC, Shot = Centurion's israeli nickname)

There are plenty of theses types out there including the doghouses on IDF M113's. they were all built for the LIC (Low intensity conflict ) Judea sumaria and Gaza. AEF actualy makes most of them. What I'd really like is a D9/10 with full doghouse armour . now there's a monster

I heard a friend of mine refer to the "dog house" equipped Nagmachons as "Nagmachon VIP".
if that helps in any way...

Question if I can?
Do any of those PE sets from
http://www.aefdesigns.com/Israile_Images/Israeli_Armor.htm
Can they only be used with what they say to use or can I get the Tamiya version and use that instead.
Happy Modeling

It would be great to see a kit of the armoured D9. They were also used by the US Army in Iraq. I know the 101st had 2 of them. I got the chance to operate one fighting fire in a sulfur plant south of Mosul last July.

tom I guess you can do the same with the tamiya kits with a little scratchbuilding maybe, unless the molds are similar
although I saw them saying "for tamiya kit ONLY" and I guess that means that you can't for that specific kit, they know what they are saying probably...
I don't think this would be a good candidate for the ugliest tank thing! I think it shows power and is pretty in a way...

Tom, if you are referring to the "doghouse" conversion for the M113, then I can say a little about it. The conversion kit was designed to fit the Academy kit, but it may fit the Tamiya offering with a little work. The top plate on the two kits vary slightly, so there may (and I stress may) be a fit problem with the how the resin parts mate up.
The majority of AEF conversions are designed particularly with a specific kit in mind, but that doesn't alway equate to an "only" fit. For example, my experiences with the M60-based conversions is that they can be "adjusted" to fit the Esci kits, although they were designed for Academy's offerings.
Just trying to help what little I can. If in doubt, you can contact Tony at AEF, and he will probably answer any questions you may have,
Dave
