Kirsten, my wife put up with me when I sold cars for ten years. Long hours, weekends, never knowing when I'd be home. I never will know how she put up with me. That was with only one "job." Armorama must be like a second job to Jim. I can't imagine what you must go through, sharing him with us all. Thank you, thank you, thank you. These last couple of days have been torture, not having my fix of plastic. Thanks to Jim, but also thanks to you for your support, I know it must mean a lot to him.

Thank you all so much for your kind words and support. I understand more than ever why this place means so much to Jim. You are truly an amazing group of people!
Oh, and I do understand the obsession thing as I have one myself but I won't say what it is cause you'll laugh at me
On a brighter note, Jim and I decided last night that he could just as easily sell his talents as a web designer as he can sell cars, and without the obnoxious hours so he quit the dealership. Yay! He was called back yesterday for a second interview for a job as web designer/developer for a local software company and we are hoping to hear good news sometime next week. Please say an extra prayer or send a positive vibe his way. This job is exactly what we have been hoping for.
Thanks again for everything (including the flowers. They are lovely!). You guys are the best and I salute you all.
Kirsten
P.S. Jim, extra smoochies for you!

Oh, C'mon tell us. We promise not to laugh...smirk, smirk, wink, wink...no really :-)
As far as Jim's dedication to this site and its members goes, he is DA MAN! He has created a true multinational community. I am so happy to the part of it.
And I thank you Kristen for all your 'behind the scenes', so to speak, help and support. I think that without you by his side, Jim would probably go nuts.

Aah, so this is the infamous "Mrs. Staff_Jim". I've been expecting you......to speak up sooner or later. I can only echo what everyone else has said: Keep up the good work and make sure Jim doesn't spend all of his time here. We all have lives, small and large. (Me? SMALL! My pet rock has a bigger social life! #:-) ) Thanks for your time.

I won't say what my obsession is but I'll give you a few hints.
It's a cult tv show with a funny name that ran for 7 seasons and it had a spin-off that ran for 5 seasons and ended last May.
Any guesses?

Thank you for your support of Jim and for putting up with us Model Fanatics. I've never been attracted to model clubs, but I now tell everyone, Armorama is my home on the web. Jim has created a home for all 5000+ of us and even manages to keep us all in line. He's the Man! and we all know it.
Thank you both.
Rob Congratulations my friend.

Hello Kristen,
I add my heartfelt thank you as well. I've finally found a worthwhile place to visit regularly online. Your husband, with your support, may have started something bigger than he can imagine, and something that will continue longer than he imagined. Sounds like a great big bite out of the art of living life! Thank you again!

Thanks to you both!! I can only add my here, here to all that has been said. That would be to Mrs. Rob too!!
I must say that I got a bit worried when I found out that armorama, kitmaker and wanderingknights were all down. I even e-mailed Gunnie trying to find out anything. I just got back from the family farm and thought that I would call if I didn't see the site online!!
Again thanks, armorama fills a bigger hole than I wanted to give credit before to, but I've been off and on here since the beginning and its the first and last thing I look at when I'm at the computer...
Ett fyrfalldig leve för Jim och Kirsten!!! Hipp Hipp Hipp Hurra!! (Thought I would entise Kirsten's Norwegian...)

To Mrs. Staff Jim, I can only offer my humble gratitude for your invaluable sacrifice of your quality time together so that bums like me can have a life outside our other "life".
To Jim, a lost of several days for most of us, apart from the usual withdrawal symptoms, in no way compare to the amount of man-hours you've put into this site. So you shouldn't worry too much if people like me happen to be walking around like a chicken without a head for a couple days. Accoding to my wife I tend to do that a lot anyway especially when the in-laws come by.
If we don't thank both of you enough is because we are a forgetful, ignorant bunch who deserve to be tortured by their mother in laws in my case anyway.

Hi Kirsten
Very late in the day, but my thanks to you and Jim are no less heartfelt; Armorama is really unique - something very special that I hope you can both take a great deal of pride in.
Cult TV... 7 years (with a 5 year spin off)?... are we talking Buffy (and Angel)? Bags I change my callsign to Spike or... Ripper!
All the best to you both

Hi Kirsten, nice to meet you
It's nice to know that Jim has the backing of such a wonderful wife. That helps Jim so, therefore helps this great site. A big thank you for that
As far as the new job goes, it's in the bag. Just have to show 'em this site. They'ed be daft not to hire him :-)
